The NOPD is seeking assistance with identifying and locating a suspect in the investigation of an aggravated criminal damage to property on November 9, 2021 at the intersection of Saint Claude Avenue and Port Street.
At about 7:01 p.m., NOPD Fifth District officers responded to the location. Through investigation, they learned that the victim, an 18-wheeler driver, had reportedly just dropped of his last load when two unknown males allegedly walked in front of his tractor trailer as he was making a u-turn. One of the males reportedly began yelling at the driver and then allegedly produced a black semiautomatic pistol and fired four shots, striking the victim’s vehicle. The two subjects then reportedly walked away from the scene. The victim was not injured.
The alleged perpetrator (pictured) is described as a black male, approximately 5’8” in height with a thin-to-medium build and a dark complexion. The subject was clad in a red and black Hoodie with the word “Privileged” in white and red on the chest. The subject was also wearing a black ski mask and khaki pants.
