Juvenile Suspect Arrested in Second District Armed Robbery Investigation

The NOPD has arrested a juvenile suspect in the ongoing investigation of an armed robbery on November 12, 2021 in the 3900 block of Dublin Street.

At about 6:30 p.m., a victim was robbed of her vehicle at gunpoint while in a parking lot in the 3900 block of Dublin Street.

As the investigation progressed, NOPD Second District detectives – with the assistance of First District personnel – located and recovered the victim’s vehicle in the 2600 block of Joliet Street.  Officers also apprehended the juvenile male suspect at the scene, finding the suspect to be in possession of a firearm at the time of apprehension. The suspect was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center accordingly.
