Suspects Sought in Defacing of Historic Buildings in Eighth District

The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects in the investigation of two incidents on November 1, 2020 where historic buildings in the Eighth District were defaced with graffiti.

The pictured male subject was captured on video outside buildings in the 600 block of Dumaine Street and the 200 block of Bourbon Street on the evening of November 1. In both incidents, the male subject used black spray paint to graffiti two historic French Quarter buildings. The female, his accomplice, provided the spray paint from her backpack and acted as a lookout during the incident on Dumaine Street.

Anyone with additional information on these incidents or the pictured suspects is asked to contact NOPD Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
