ARRESTED: Suspect Apprehended for Fourth District Attempted Armed Robbery

The NOPD has arrested Jamaal Williams (DOB: 07-07-1979) in connection with an attempted armed robbery incident that occurred on November 10, 2018 in the 4500 block of MacArthur Boulevard.

At about 4:30 a.m., Williams is believed to have pointed a firearm at the victim, demanding money owed from the victim for narcotics. However, the subject did use the firearm to strike the victim in the face, causing a contusion.

As investigation progressed, NOPD Fourth District detectives positively identified Williams as the perpetrator and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
