Suspect Identified in Saturday Night Shooting on Urquhart

The NOPD has identified a suspect in a shooting that took place at the intersection of Gordon Street and Urquhart Street over the weekend.

 

Calvin Flipper Dixon (DOB: 09/04/1993) is wanted for attempted second degree murder and aggravated battery for an incident that occurred on November 5, 2016. At about 9:43 p.m. that night, two male victims were shot outside of a store in the 5900 block of Urquhart. Dixon has been identified as the perpetrator who shot the men multiple times from the passenger seat of a vehicle that pulled up to the location.

 

Dixon is described as a black male, 6’3” tall and weighing 160 pounds.
