NOPD Searching for Suspects in Attempted Purse Snatching on Bullard Avenue

Two unidentified black males attempted to steal a woman’s purse as she was leaving the Walmart at 6000 Bullard Avenue on November 2, 2016. The NOPD is seeking help from the public in identifying these suspects.

At about 2:10 p.m., the victim exited the store and began loading groceries into her vehicle when the two pictured suspects, who were inside the pictured white Ford SUV, attempted to take her purse as they drove past. The victim had locked her purse into the buggy using the child restraint belt, which allowed her to grab the shopping cart and purse and thwart their attempt.

The vehicle in this incident has has a spare tire featuring a black rim, as well as a front passenger-side wheel that does not match the rest of the vehicle’s rims and tired.
