UPDATE: Makeala Harrell (DOB: 12/17/1996) is no longer considered missing.
At around 6:30 p.m., Sixth District detectives were informed by Harrell’s family members that she is currently traveling to Portland, Oregon.

The NOPD is looking for Makeala Harrell (DOB: 12/17/1996) who was last seen by a family member on November 3, 2016.
At approximately 8:15 a.m. on November 3, Harrell was reportedly dropped off at Xavier University by her brother. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Harrell is described as a black female, approximately 5’7” tall and weighing 160 pounds. She has short reddish, brown hair. A photo of the missing woman is included below.
