The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old female reported missing from Alabama and believed to be in New Orleans.
On November 24, 2016, Eryn Akers reportedly ran away from her father’s residence, located in Jemison, Ala. Akers stole her grandfather’s white 2012 Ford Expedition, bearing Alabama handicap tag 3Y2J, along with two handguns. Akers is believed to be with her 16-year-old boyfriend, identified as Lashaun Washington. The two are currently believed to be in New Orleans, where Washington’s father is a resident.
