NOPD Seeking Suspects in Fraud Investigation

NOPD's White Collar Crimes Unit is asking for the public's assistance in locating two suspects in connection with a fraud investigation.

According to investigators, Mia Mayoba Robinson (pictured Black female, DOB: 02/23/1971), and Narvin Anthony Lassai (pictured Black male, DOB: 09/29/1982), are wanted on multiple charges stemming from an incident on March 14, 2026.

On the date, in the 900 block of Poeyfarre Street, the victim reported that Robinson and Lassai used the victim's cellphone to transfer over $58,000 in cryptocurrency to themselves without the victim's permission.

Robinson is being sought on charges of theft of over $25,000, illegal transmission of monetary funds, and computer fraud.

Lassai is wanted on charges of theft under $25,000, illegal transmission of monetary funds and computer fraud.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
