New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with identifying and locating a suspect wanted for second degree battery.

According to investigators, around 2:50 a.m. on February 27, 2025 in the 1100 block of Decatur Street the suspect committed a second degree battery, seriously injuring the victim, and then fled the location. The suspect was described as being a "Black male dressed as a female".
Anyone with information regarding the crime or the identity of the suspect is asked to call Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
