NOPD Seeking Persons of Interest in Homicide Investigation

NOPD Seeking Persons of Interest in Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest in connection with a homicide investigation.

On May 19, 2024 around 6:30 a.m., Seventh District officers were called to a shooting incident in the 4400 block of Werner Drive. Upon arrival they discovered the victim on the street in front of a residence suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

EMS arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.  The Orleans Parish Coroner later identified the victim as 40-year-old Dominque Jones.

Through investigation, detectives identified the pictured subjects as persons of interest in the investigation. They are NOT wanted in this shooting, but detectives believe they may have information pertinent to their case
