The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in identifying and locating a subject believed to be the perpetrator of an aggravated battery by shooting on May 9, 2021 at the intersection of Canal Street and Roosevelt Way.
Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives believe the pictured suspect shot two victims after a physical altercation near the intersection. The suspect is said to be known as “Malik.”
