NOPD Arrests Suspect for Narcotics Violation in Second District

NOPD officers arrested Phillip Barbarin (DOB: 09/25/1996) after he was found in illegal possession of narcotics in the Second District.

On Monday, May 6, 2020, Second District Task Force Officers executed a narcotics search warrant in the 8200 block of Palmetto Street. The search yielded the confiscation of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and ecstasy tablets.

Barbarin was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center where he was booked with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute psilocybin mushrooms and possession with the intent to distribute ecstasy.
