Suspect Sought for Stabbing on South Carrollton

The NOPD is looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated battery in the 4100 block of South Carrollton Avenue.

Shortly after 11 p.m. on May 5, 2017, an unknown black male was asked to leave an establishment by a security officer. The perpetrator then punched the security guard and a brief struggle ensued. During the scuffle, the suspect pulled a knife and stabbed the guard four times before being wrestled to the floor by other individuals. He then fled the scene.

The suspect was wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and red tennis shoes.
