Surveillance Video Captures Images of Suspect in Shooting on Iberville Street

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify an individual believed to be responsible for a shooting that occurred on May 21, 2017 in the 1200 block of Iberville Street.

At about 3:44 a.m., officers in the area heard several shots near the intersection of Iberville & Crozat streets. The officers observed three black males running toward them. Two of the three black males had sustained gunshot wounds to their legs. During the investigation, detectives learned the incident was captured on video and the above subject was observed shooting at the victims. The subject was also captured on video walking on Basin Street immediately before the shooting occurred.

The subject was described as a black male about 18 to 22 years old, standing between 5’08” and 5’10” and weighing about 150-165 pounds. He was further described as having a light complexion and long dreadlocked hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
