NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted in Connection with Armed Robbery on Virginia Marie Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Jason Cooper (DOB: 01-28-1995), who is believed to be one of three suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred on May 10, 2017 in the 1500 block of Virginia Marie Street.

Congratulations to Harold Chambliss, who is retiring after a 37-year career as an NOPD officer. He was honored on May 23 with a Lifetime Achievement award by the Special Operations Division.

Chambliss won't be stepping away from his role as the Canine Division's master trainer, however, as will remain with the department as a civilian.
