New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with identifying and locating a suspect wanted for theft.
According to investigators, around 9:30 a.m. on march 19, 2026 the pictured suspect broke into multiple mailboxes at an apartment building in the 3000 block of Gentilly Boulevard. The suspect stole multiple pieces of mail and then fled in a red-color Mazda sedan bearing a temporary tag in the rear window.
The suspect was described as being a slim-build Black male with tattoos on his chest & neck, and star shaped tattoos on his face near his right eye. He was wearing a baseball-type cap, a grey-color zippered sweatshirt, sweatpants, and white-color shoes.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
