New Orleans - The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a theft that occurred in the 600 block of City Park Avenue on February 9, 2026.
On Monday, February 9, 2026, the pictured subject, identified as William Delaney, was developed as the offender in the theft of a victim’s cellphone from a local library. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Delaney later sold the stolen cellphone at an EcoATM located inside a Business in the 4300 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
An arrest warrant has been issued for William Delaney in connection with this incident.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
