The New Orleans Police Department is taking necessary precautions in coordination with the City Health Department as it relates to the Coronavirus and contact with the public. Officers are asked to regularly wash their hands, limit handshaking, use alcohol based hand sanitizer and clean and disinfect vehicles and duty equipment after all calls. The NOPD is committed to remaining vigilant in carrying out its duty to serve the community.
