NOPD officers have arrested Devin Schaffer (DOB: 08/09/2001) in connection with an auto burglary that occurred around 9 a.m. on Tuesday (March 17) in the 100 block of Roosevelt Way.
The victim told police that several items were stolen from inside of the vehicle. During the course of the investigation, NOPD officers observed Schaffer inside of a vehicle located in a downtown parking garage, at which time he attempted to flee the scene, but was quickly apprehended without incident.
Schaffer was found in possession of the victim’s items that were reported stolen during the auto burglary. The subject was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center where he was booked accordingly.
