The NOPD is looking for five subjects involved in an aggravated assault incident, as well as several auto vehicle burglaries that occurred on March 1, 2020.
At around 5:21 a.m., five unknown subjects were captured on surveillance video burglarizing vehicles near the intersection of Jena and Danneel Streets. You can view the video here. At some point, a victim confronted the subjects during the burglaries, and a suspect shot at the victim, but the victim was not wounded by the gunfire.
The suspect who fired at the victim is believed to be a black male, described as standing approximately 6’1” tall with a thin frame and wearing a white shirt and dark track pants.
