Suspect Identified by NOPD in Aggravated Assault with a Firearm on Roosevelt Way

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Dovante Devin Crosby (DOB: 08-05-1996) in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm that occurred on March 8, 2018 in the 100 block of Roosevelt Way.

At about 6:50 p.m., the victim and Crosby are believed to have been engaged in a verbal altercation regarding the victim moving his vehicle. During the altercation, Crosby allegedly threatened to fight the victim, to which the victim agreed. As the two walked to the rear of the location, Crosby allegedly raised his shirt to display a firearm. Crosby then allegedly turned his back to the victim and removed the firearm from his waistband, threatening to kill the victim before fleeing the location.

When located, Crosby will be arrested and booked for aggravated assault with a firearm.
