NOPD Seeking Suspects in Simple Robbery on Bourbon Street

The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate two suspects wanted in a simple robbery that occurred on March 16, 2018 in the 300 block of Bourbon Street.

The victim told police that at about 7:26 a.m., he was talking to an unknown black male in the area when he was approached from the behind by another unknown black male. The second subject then allegedly punched the victim twice and, when the victim fell to the ground, the second subject reportedly went into the victim’s pocket and took the victim’s wallet. The two subjects then fled the scene on foot on Bourbon Street.

A photo of the suspects is included, taken through surveillance video in the area monitored by the City of New Orleans Real Time Crime Center. The subject on the right was seen to have struck the victim from behind and taken the victim’s wallet, handing it to the subject on the left before the two fled the scene.

Anyone with information on this incident or on the identities and/or locations of the two pictured suspects is asked to contact Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080 or call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
