NOPD Arrests Suspect Accused of Making Threats Against UNO Students

The NOPD has arrested a subject in connection with threats made against UNO students Sunday afternoon.

 

Nicholas Heard, (B/M DOB: 6/6/1997) was arrested Monday without incident at his residence in the 8400 block of Willow Street.

 

NOPD VOWS Unit along with the U.S. Marshals Service executed a search warrant at the location but found no weapons.

 

On March 11, 2018 at 5:30 p.m., Heard is accused of making direct threats to fellow students attending UNO.

 

This investigation is a result of the NOPD’s commitment to investigate all threats made to schools within the city and to ensure the safety our students.

 

All threats to our schools and students will be taken seriously to ensure the identification and prosecution of those threatening harm and jeopardizing the public’s safety.
