Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Assault on Aubry Street

The NOPD is searching for the driver of a gray corvette after he reportedly pointed his gun at a victim around traffic.

The incident happened on March 24, 2017. At about 10:50 p.m., the wanted subject was driving in the 2100 block of Aubry Street.  The victim, who was providing security for a nearby bar, signaled for the driver to continue driving so that the traffic could flow. However, the driver of the corvette pulled to the side and exited his vehicle armed with a handgun. The suspect then pointed the firearm at the victim and fled the scene.

The wanted subject is described as black male, muscular build with a bald head. He is described as being between the ages of 30 to 40 years old. The subject was seen driving a gray, Chevrolet convertible corvette with distinctive lights on the rotors that light up the chrome on each wheel.
