The NOPD today arrested Brandon Bargky (DOB: 10-28-1991) after he was found in illegal possession of a firearm at the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Old Gentilly Road.
Just after midnight, NOPD Third District officers initiated a traffic stop on a red Honda ATV at the intersection. The driver, identified as Bargky, was arrested for traffic infractions. Upon conducting a search, Bargky was found to be in possession of a handgun without proper permitting. Bargky was booked into Central Lockup on a charge of illegal possession of a firearm.
