NOPD officers are searching for the pictured subject after he was observed on surveillance video removing the victim’s wallet from her purse while at a business located in the 2000 block of Canal Street.
On Saturday, June 9, 2018, at or around 9:10 a.m., the victim placed her purse under her desk before going to the cafeteria to eat breakfast. At or around 9:30 a.m., a black male subject, wearing a white and blue polo shirt and gray pants, jumped over the unattended desk and stole the victim’s wallet.
The victim also reported that her credit card was used at two local businesses.
