Suspect Identified in Armed Robbery on South Carrollton Avenue

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Andre Addison (DOB: 09-01-1962) in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on June 24, 2018 in the 3600 block of South Carrollton Avenue.

At about 8:04 p.m., Addison is believed to have walked into a Family Dollar store in the area pretending to be a customer. Addison then allegedly handed a cashier a note that stated he was robbing the store, before reportedly producing a handgun. Addison then allegedly reached over the counter and removed cash from a register before fleeing the scene on foot.

Addison is currently wanted on multiple warrants in Jefferson and Orleans parishes, including simple robbery and business burglary.
