NOPD VOWS Officers Arrests Suspects for Armed Robbery, Attempted Second-Degree Murder

Members of the NOPD’s Violent Offenders Warrant Squad and U.S. Marshal’s Office arrested fugitive Ronald Delaney (DOB:12/23/94) and Thaddieus Simmons (DOB: 09/18/90) for armed robbery with a firearm and attempted second-degree murder in two separate incidents.

Ronald Delaney was arrested on Thursday (June 21) in the 3000 block of Wall Street under a fugitive attachment for armed robbery. Delaney was wanted by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. A photo of Delaney is unavailable. 

Simmons, pictured above, was arrested on Friday (June 22) for attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, and two counts of simple criminal damage to property. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Adele Street, on June 11, 2018.
