New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for fraud by issuing worthless checks.
Wanted is Dent Anthony Hunter, Jr. (pictured), Black male, DOB 07/09/1979.
According to investigators, on September 25, 2025 in the 6000 block of Wright Road Dent Anthony Hunter, Jr. issued a worthless check for more than $2000 to the victim as payment for construction services. A warrant is on file for his arrest.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
