New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for theft.
Wanted is Gilda Blanton (pictured), Black female, DOB 11/28/1961.
According to investigators, around 7:58 a.m. on June 24, 2025 a package was stolen from the front porch of a residence on Camilla Trace in Algiers. Through surveillance video, the perpetrator of the theft was identified as being Gilda Blanton.
Anyone with information regarding the theft or the location of Gilda Blanton is asked to call Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
