New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for illegal use of weapons.
Wanted is Victor Michael Jackson (pictured), Black male, DOB 08/22/1990, height 6' 1", and weight 160 pounds.
According to investigators, around 1:15 a.m. on June 28, 2025 in the 2600 block of General De Gaulle Drive Victor Michael Jackson and an unknown wanted suspect were involved in an altercation. During the altercation, the unknown suspect drew a handgun from his waistband and shot Victor Michael Jackson, causing a non-life threatening wound. Victor Michael Jackson then left the area, obtained a firearm, returned, and fired at least one shot.
A warrant is on file for the arrest of Victor Michael Jackson.
