Suspect Quickly Arrested for Two Counts of Armed Robbery on Peony Street

Officers in the Fourth District arrested Lavante Riley (DOB: 10/07/98) on Wednesday (June 13) for two counts of armed robbery, illegal carrying of a weapon and two warrants for simple burglary.

Fourth District General Assignment Officers and Bicycle Patrol Officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at the intersection of Peony Street and Sullen Place. Officers arrived in the area within minutes and were able to locate the suspect walking toward the intersection of Brunswick Court and Sullen Place. 

After a brief foot chase, Riley was apprehended in the 6400 block of Peony Street. Through the course of the investigation, the two victims were able to positively identify the subject.
