NOPD's Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Keaun Jones (DOB: 1-28-1999) after he was discovered as the perpetrator in the homicide of a 17-year-old male.
The incident happened on June 13, 2017. At approximately 12:40 a.m., a homicide by shooting occurred in the 9300 block of Chef Menteur Highway. Through the course of the investigation, detectives developed Jones as the suspect in the incident. As the investigation progressed, detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Jones.
