NOPD Seeking Suspect in Vehicle Burglary and Attempted Simple Burglary on Read Boulevard

The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate a subject seen on surveillance in commission of a vehicle burglary and attempted simple burglary on June 29, 2017 in the 4400 block of Read Boulevard.

At approximately 5:35 pm, the pictured subject drove to the location and entered a vehicle in the parking lot, removing unknown property. The subject is then seen acquiring a handgun from the passenger in his vehicle, described as a silver Dodge Avenger, and kicking open the front door of the business. After seeing a worker inside of the business, the victim explained to the worker that he allegedly knocked to see if anyone was there and, when no one answer, he believed the business was empty. The subject then left the location.

Anyone with information on this incident or the pictured subject is asked to contact Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
