UPDATED: NOPD Arrests Suspect in Attempted Murder on Vanderkloot

NOPD has identified Kirk Washington (DOB:6-30-1989) as a suspect in an attempted murder.

 

The victim reported that shortly before 5 p.m. on June 20, 2017, she was traveling in the 7800 block of Vanderkloot Avenue when Washington  pulled up beside her in a white four-door Infiniti with tinted windows . Washington fired several gunshots at her then continued driving down Vanderkloot. As the vehicle turned onto Hayne Boulevard, Washington fired additional shots at her, one of which struck her in the right upper hip.

 

Washington is wanted for attempted murder, illegal discharge of a firearm and aggravated criminal damage.
