NOPD Seeks to Identify Burglary Suspects

New Orleans - The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying multiple individuals believed to be involved in a burglary that occurred in the Eighth District.

On July 8, 2026, at approximately 10:40 p.m., an unknown Black male wearing a dark blue tank top entered a business in the 800 block of Canal Street, removed several items, and fled through the rear door, leaving it open to Bourbon Street.

At approximately 5:06 a.m. on July 9, 2026, several additional subjects discovered the unsecured rear entrance and entered the business, where they removed additional store merchandise.

During the investigation, officers apprehended three of the eight individuals believed to have entered the business. The remaining five suspects have not yet been identified or arrested.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the individual pictured is urged to contact Eighth District Detectives at 504-658-6080. Those wishing to report information anonymously can do so by calling Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
