NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery in the Second District.
On April 1, 2026, the pictured subject (unknown Black male), was identified by NOPD detectives as the perpetrator of an armed robbery that occurred at a business in the 4000 block of South Claiborne Avenue.
At about 8:42 p.m. on the date, the business manager reported that the suspect came into his office and lifted his shirt displaying a black handgun. The suspect demanded money from the safe and the manager complied. The suspect fled on foot with the money in a green backpack.
Investigators say the suspect was a wearing a blue zip-up hoodie with the words 'WHOA' on it, black jeans and tan Timberland boots.
