NOPD Seeking Public's Assistance in Locating Suspect Wanted for Simple Criminal Damage

The New Orleans Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating Hunter Creel (pictured, white male, DOB: 12-18-2001), wanted in connection with a criminal damage to property investigation that occurred in the 200 block of Royal Street.

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, at approximately 6:41 a.m., an unknown white male smashed the front window of a local business before fleeing the area on foot. Through investigation, detectives have positively idenfitied Creel as the perpetrator and have obtained an arrest warrant.

Creel is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 150 pounds. Investigators note the individual is known to frequently walk barefoot throughout the French Quarter.
