Person of Interest Sought for Questioning in NOPD Shooting Investigation

The NOPD is seeking to locate and interview a person of interest in the ongoing investigation of an aggravated battery by shooting that occurred on June 13, 2021 at the intersection of Fulton and North Diamond streets.

Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives have developed Dion Roberts (pictured, black male, DOB: 02-06-2000) of Gretna, La. as a person of interest in this investigation. Roberts is not currently wanted on criminal charges. However, detectives feel he has knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to question him.
