NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted in Fourth District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Willard Waldon (pictured, DOB: 01-16-1990) in the investigation of an aggravated assault with a firearm that occurred on July 27, 2020 in the 2000 block of Westbend Parkway.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives determined that at about 2:00 a.m., a subject later identified as Waldon arrived at the victim’s residence while armed with an assault rifle. Waldon then allegedly threatened to kill the victim and told the victim to check the tires on her vehicle. The victim later went to vehicle and discovered the tires had been slashed.

When located, Waldon will be arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm and simple criminal damage to property.
