Suspects Arrested in Armed Robbery on Chef Menteur Highway

The NOPD has arrested Terrence Coe (DOB: 01-13-1979) and Brandon Jones (DOB: 09-07-1994) in connection with an armed robbery incident that occurred on July 29, 2018 in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

Seventh District responded to the area for an armed robbery call. Once on the scene, officers spoke with the three victims who said they were allegedly robbed at gunpoint of their property by two unknown black males, after the victims gave another subject a ride to the location.

Upon further investigation, officers and detectives were able to locate the residence to where the suspects fled after the reported robbery. At that location, officers arrested both suspects. Detectives also located a black BB gun with the orange safety tip removed, believed to be one of the firearms used by the suspects during the robbery.

Both Coe and Jones booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for armed robbery.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070.
