The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in locating and identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for a business burglary that occurred on July 16, 2018 in the 900 block of Canal Street.
At about 12:38 a.m., an unknown black male carrying two white plastic bags and a black backpack entered a restaurant in the area and was captured on video in the rear hallway. The subject was then seen entering a storage room, where he changed clothes into a gray jump suit. The suspect then allegedly removed an iPad and an employee’s backpack from the room before fleeing the location on foot. The subject left the two plastic bags on scene.
