Suspect Arrested for Armed Robbery on Boeing Street

Officers in the Seventh District have arrested Joshua London (DOB: 12/30/1998), who is believed to have committed an armed robbery and aggravated kidnapping in the 5900 block of Boeing Street.

The incident occurred at or around 12:57 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018. The victim told police he was standing outside his vehicle when he was approached by an unknown black male subject asking if he wanted to smoke. Four to five more unknown black males then reportedly appeared with their weapons drawn. The subjects then allegedly forced the victim inside his vehicle and drove him to Slidell, La., where he reportedly escaped. The subjects then allegedly fled the scene in the victim’s 2010 black Mustang.

As the investigation progressed, London was positively identified as one of the perpetrators in this incident. London was located on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at a residence in the 5900 block of Boeing Street. Prior to the apprehension, detectives located the victim’s vehicle at the nearby intersection of Piper Lane and Beechcraft Street.

London was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center, where he was booked for armed robbery and aggravated kidnapping.
