NOPD Identifies Suspect in Business Burglary on Crowder Boulevard

NOPD officers are searching for Aaron Cuong Le (DOB: 01/15/1987) after his alleged involvement in a business burglary that occurred in the 7000 block of Crowder Boulevard.

The reporting person told police that Le, who was a former employee of the business, was observed on surveillance video gaining entry into the business with a key at or around 2:20 a.m. on July 26, 2018. Upon entering the business, the subject allegedly utilized a piece of wood to prop open the registry security door. He then removed a large amount of cash from the cash registers and a pistol with a full magazine of ten rounds, before fleeing the scene.

During the course of the investigation, officers learned that Le was reportedly fired from the business in January of 2018 for stealing from the business, and he was the only person besides management who possessed the key.

Anyone with any information regarding Aaron Cuong Le’s whereabouts is asked to notify Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
