NOPD, U.S. Marshals Arrest Suspects in Aggravated Assault in Seventh District

Members of the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and U.S. Marshals arrested Henry Tillman (DOB: 12-03-1984) and Rhondika Bull (DOB: 01-25-1983) on July 25, 2018, in connection with an aggravated assault incident that occurred at the intersection of North Claiborne Avenue and Laharpe Street on June 17, 2018.

The victim arrived at the First District station and told police that as she was leaving a bar in the area, an acquaintance later identified as Bull reportedly approached the victim and grabbed her, threw her to the ground and began assaulting the victim with her fists. Bull allegedly stopped the attack when a bystander said they would call police.

The victim said that after the attack, she returned to her vehicle at the intersection of North Claiborne Avenue and Laharpe Street, where she allegedly saw Bull and a known male subject later identified as Tillman firing handguns at her vehicle as she drove away from the location. When she arrived at her residence, the victim said she observed bullet holes in her vehicle and two of the vehicle’s tires were damaged.

As investigation into the incident progressed, detectives were able to positively identify Tillman and Bull as the perpetrators and secure warrants for their arrests.

Both Tillman and Bull were located at a residence in the 7100 block of Barrington Court, where they were apprehended and arrested.

Tilliman was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for domestic aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated criminal damage to property and felon in possession of a firearm.

Bull was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for aggravated assault with a firearm, second degree battery and aggravated criminal damage to property. A booking photo of Bull was not available as of this writing.

A search warrant executed on the residence revealed a handgun located inside of the residence.
