Vehicle Reported Stolen from North Dorgenois Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a vehicle reported stolen on January 26, 2016 in the 1600 block of North Dorgenois Street.

The victim told police that at about 12:15 p.m., he went to his front yard to place his cellphone in his vehicle, a silver 2011 Chevrolet Malibu four-door car bearing Texas license plates with an unknown number. The victim said he left the vehicle unlocked with the keys under the front seat. The victim’s father later went to the front of the house and observed two black males standing behind the victim’s vehicle. As he returned to the rear yard, the father said, he saw the unknown males enter the vehicle and flee the scene.

The subjects are described as black males, one wearing a camouflage jacket and the other wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

A photo of a vehicle similar in make and model to the vehicle stolen in this incident is included with this release. Note that this is not the actual vehicle stolen in this incident.
