NOPD has arrested Jorge Machado (DOB: 10/10/1982) for burglary of a vehicle and illegal possession of stolen things. On January 26, 2017, at approximately 9 p.m., Sgt. Mark Joseph apprehended Machado at Burgundy and St. Louis Streets. When arrested, Machado was wearing the same clothing he wore when captured on surveillance video burglarizing a vehicle.

The NOPD is looking to identify an unknown male who was seen on surveillance video burglarizing a vehicle in the 800 block of Bienville Street.

The incident happened on January 18, 2017. At around 3:30 a.m., an unknown male suspect wearing a Drew Brees Saints jersey was seen walking in the area. The suspect then approached an unlocked vehicle. The suspect then removed a Pioneer Stereo system out of the vehicle. The suspect was then seen wearing a white T-shirt over his jersey to help conceal the stolen property.
