Suspect Arrested after Robbing Delivery Man on Southlawn Boulevard

The NOPD has arrested Isaac Lee (DOB: 11/16/1989) after he robbed a delivery driver on Wednesday (Jan. 4) on Southlawn Boulveard.

At around 7:19 p.m., the victim told police he was delivering food at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of Southlawn Boulevard when Lee reportedly approached the victim who was standing near the front door of the home. The victim told police Lee stated that he had a firearm under is jacket and demanded money from the victim. Once the victim told the suspect he didn’t have any money, Lee hit the victim several times with his fist. The victim told police he eventually gave Lee all of his money. The victim also said that the suspect continued to search him and then took his cell phone. Lee was then seen running in an unknown direction.

Lee was arrested and booked with armed robbery; however, additional charges may be filed.
