NOPD Tracks Down, Arrests Four Suspects Wanted For Various Crimes

The Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) made several arrests within the past 24 hours, including:

 

Jeremy Simmons (DOB:  4/11/89) for aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of crack cocaine. Simmons was wanted for an incident that took place in the 12000 block of South I-10 Service Road on December 29, 2016. He was apprehended at the intersection of Brutus and Annette streets and at the time of his arrest, Simmons was in possession of two 9mm handguns, including one that was reported stolen from Lafayette Parish, and .02 grams of crack cocaine.

 

Catina Craig (DOB:  7/3/72) for aggravated battery. Craig was apprehended in the 3500 block of Second Street for a domestic incident that took place at the location on December 26, 2016.

 

Dquaii Bessie (DOB: 12/16/78) for aggravated battery. Bessie was apprehended in the 3300 block of Garden Oaks Drive in connection to a physical altercation that occurred at that address on December 24, 2016.

 

Torri Pinkney (DOB:  8/14/90) for burglary. Pinkney was apprehended in the 3000 block of General Ogden Street for burglarizing a vehicle in the 2900 block of Eagle Street on December 16, 2016.
